Each issue of Curl includes product reviews with a panel of curly girls trying new things and sharing their thoughts. We do not charge for product reviews, but there is limited space in each issue. Reviews are limited to hair products and tools.

We’ll evaluate the product itself, the packaging, and the presentation to ensure we share only the very best with our readers.
If you are selected for a review, you’ll be asked to send five of the same full-size item(s) to Curl’s selected reviewers. We choose reviewers based on varying hair types and locations. With so many variables in curly hair, we want our readers to see someone who has hair and conditions remotely similar to theirs so they get an idea of how it might work for them.
Reviewers are asked to try the product several times, so they can try varying amounts and see how their hair responds over time. Three of the best-written and most useful assessments are published in the magazine along with a picture of reviewer (and their hair) while using the product(s).
