Digital Subscription: You’ll receive the next issue(s) in digital format, and have unlimited access to the articles on our website.
Print + Digital Subscription: You’ll receive the next issue(s) in print and digital formats, and have unlimited access to the articles on our website.
Digital Archive Subscription Add-On: You’ll have access to ALL previous digital issues — over 1,500 pages! — while your subscription is active.
New issues are scheduled to release on the first of the month in February, May, August, and November. If the first of the month falls on a weekend, the scheduled release date will be the first Monday of the month.
Subscriptions must be active at 11:59 ET on the 15th of the month prior to a release. To receive February’s issue, your subscription must be active on Jan. 15. To receive May’s issue, your subscription must be active on April 15. To receive August’s issue, your subscription must be active on July 15. To receive November’s issue, your subscription must be active on Oct. 15.
Up until the 15th of a release month (Feb. 15, May 15, Aug. 15, Nov. 15), you may request to have your subscription backdated. This means it will appear to start earlier than it did, and it will also be slated for renewal earlier. Backdating print subscriptions will incur a shipping fee for the first issue. Email help@readcurl.com to backdate your subscription.
Accessing Digital Editions
If you have purchased an issue as part of a subscription or from the shop, you can request a PDF version by emailing help@readcurl.com. While past digital editions accessed as part of a Free Subscription, Digital Archive Subscription, or Legacy Premium Subscription cannot be downloaded, you may request a PDF of issues you are sent as part of your subscription. (For example, if you receive Issues 9, 10, 11, and 12 as part of an annual subscription, you could request PDFs for those issues, but not for previous ones, unless purchased separately.)
If you have the add-on Digital Archive Subscription, you can access all past digital editions by logging in to your account and, on your dashboard, clicking the Digital Archive: All Past Editions button under Subscriber Features.

Magazines that are sent as part of a subscription do not have tracking information.

It’s your responsibility to update your address if it changes. We’re not responsible for replacing magazines that did not arrive due to being shipped to a previous address.

Yes, if all three of these conditions are met:
1) You have an annual subscription or legacy quarterly subscription.
2) You request the refund within 7 days of the payment.
3) It is not 30 days or fewer until a new issue is released.

Monthly Subscriptions: Refunds are not available.
Annual Subscriptions: For up to 30 days after subscribing, you may request a partial refund equal to your initial payment minus the monthly subscription rate for your plan. Once it auto-renews, the policy above applies.

Miscellaneous
Once a year, we open up our reviewer pool. We’ll announce this across our newsletter and social media when it happens. You’ll be able to add your name to the list at that time. Refunds of the application fee are not available.
If you filled out the application, we have your info! Your name is in our pool for the year, and you could be selected at any time within that year. We select reviewers for each product based on location and hair type, because we want to try products across a wide variety of hair and climates. We do have hundreds of applicants, so it’s possible you won’t be selected for a review, but we promise it’s nothing personal, and you should try again next time!
